Kepada anakandaku Sofea,

Andai suatu hari nanti lauk yang terhidang adalah yang sama setiap hari,

Andai suatu hari nanti masakan umi rasanya tidak enak lagi,

Andai suatu hari nanti umi tidak dapat memenuhi permintaan hidangan Sofea, 

Ingat lah kawan-kawan Sofea di Gaza yang mengalami kebuluran. 

Hargai lah, syukuri lah,

walau hidangan yang sama, 

walau rasanya tidak kena,

walau permintaan tidak tersedia.

I want this fact to be shared and read around the world. Gaza is facing genocide by Israel! Palestinians are facing ethnic cleansing!
